1. Using dangerous nail products
2. Poor salon hygiene
3. Failure to disinfect the nails
4. Messy application touching skin and flooding cuticles
5. Using too much product, which prevents full polymerization
6. Using the wrong lamp, which does not cure the product
7. Not curing long enough
8. Touching an uncured product
9. Failure to remove a sticky layer after curing
10. Doing aggressive manicures that damage the nail or cuticles
